National Collaboration

At a national level, our researchers participate in collaborative networks, centres and initiatives.

Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs) are long-term, large-scale centres that aim to foster research collaborations between university and industry partners to address issues of national significance.

Our FBL researchers have worked on projects for:

Examples include:

The expertise of our FBL researchers has also been recognised through appointments to research leadership roles within CRCs. Professor Robert Cunningham (Dean of the Curtin Law School), for example, currently leads Research Stream 4: RegTech with algorithmic real-time enforcement) within the Digital Finance CRC

Through participation in the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI), our researchers work on impact-focused collaborative housing projects and produce high-quality, evidence-based reports that inform housing policy and practice on a national scale.
