Research in the Faculty is aimed at the creation of new knowledge and the provision of solutions for real world problems in industry and society. Underpinning this are strong partnerships with industry, business and government, resulting in outcomes that greatly benefit the broader community locally, nationally and globally.
Our research
Our researchers operate in a vibrant research culture with access to world-class facilities and equipment and collaborate widely with other leading research groups, both in Australia and overseas, as well as with CSIRO and our industry partners. We have particular research strengths in space; agriculture, food and water; earth and mineral systems; future energy technologies; chemical science; environmental science, monitoring and management; digital technologies; and structural engineering and asset management.
