Community Involvement

Types of Involvement

  1. Community Advisory Groups

Our domains of research utilise these groups across multiple projects. This group of community members provide advice on research direction, project specifics and priorities from a community perspective.

  2. Consumer and Community Representative

These individuals work within a research team for the lifetime of the project. They provide a direct link to the community the research projects aims to help, and the perspectives of said community members.

  3. Community Conversations

These public events occur very early on in the research project. The aim is to help identify the needs of health consumers and community members that the research is trying to address and in turn, shape the project to deliver the best evidence-based solutions.
