Challenges and opportunities of the energy transition

Understanding how the public perceives the challenges and opportunities associated with the energy transition is fundamental to good decision-making.

The Curtin Institute for Energy Transition conducted its first national survey of Australian public perceptions of energy transition-related challenges and opportunities in 2024.

This enabled the identification of priority challenges and opportunities at both global and national scales. Identifying these challenges and opportunities is critical to developing well-informed policy and driving the commitment and contribution from all sectors of society required for a successful transition.
