Decarbonise WA

Decarbonise WA, decarbonise the world. The Decarb WA initiative aims to join the dots between industry, academia, not-for-profits and government to catalyse the decarbonisation of WA.

Effective decarbonisation is a key challenge for our state, and our approach to achieving a net-zero future will transform WA for decades to come. If we can decarbonise WA, then we can decarbonise the world, but this requires cooperation and feedback from the entire energy ecosystem.

This roundtable, hosted in December 2024, was an exclusive opportunity for key players in WA to shape proposed actions and provide feedback and input into the state’s decarbonisation pathway. Over 90 delegates attended, taking advantage of the opportunity to be part of this innovative project and collaborate to secure a safer, cleaner and more sustainable future for WA.

We intend to continue this initiative in 2025, following up to define next steps following the March election.
