The Theoretical Physics Group was part of The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Antimatter-Matter Studies (2007-2013), and Professor Igor Bray was the deputy director.
The Group’s research interests are in the area of electrons, positrons, (anti)protons or photons scattering from atoms, ions and molecules, as well as laser- and atom-surface interactions. Applications include lasers, astrophysics, plasma processing, plasma displays, fusion research, medical physics, and the lighting industry.
