Information for Stakeholders

Methodology of the survey
How it works:
Families will be invited from different areas across every State and Territory.
Around 6,500 parents will take part in a one-hour interview at home.
About 3,000 teens will be asked to complete a 45-minute online survey.

What we’re asking about
The survey will explore many topics both positive and negative, that affect young people’s mental health, including:
– Common mental health conditions
– Wellbeing and emotional challenges
– Self-harm and suicidal thoughts
– Bullying and eating issues
– Alcohol, drugs, and online habits
– Use of health services
– How mental health affects school and family life
– Positive experiences

YMM & YMOF
