Information for Young People

Who can take part?
Families with young people aged 4 to 17 years who live in selected areas might be invited to join the survey. This helps make sure the results reflect families from all across Australia.
If you’re 11 years or older and selected, you’ll be able to take part by answering questions yourself in a simple online questionnaire.

How long will it take?
The youth survey will take approximately 45 minutes to complete and you will be given a $50 EFTPOS gift card for your time.

What is the process like?
If you’re taking part in the survey, you’ll be doing your questionnaire while your parent is having their interview with the Roy Morgan interviewer.
You’ll be in a separate room, answering questions on a tablet by yourself.
This helps keep your answers private, so you can be honest and feel comfortable sharing how you really feel.
