Ms Hannelly undertakes environmental health research, specifically related to water and air quality. 

Associate Professor Anthony Kicic

Associate Professor Kicic leads a range of research projects investigating tissue resident cells found in the lung to examine their role in airway repair, identifying target areas for therapeutic application.

Dr Alexander Larcombe

Dr Larcombe leads a range of projects designed to improving our understanding of how environmental insults impact lung growth, development and function.

Dr Ryan Mead-Hunter

Dr Ryan Mead-Hunter’s research includes aerosol science, air quality measurement and sensing and exposure assessment using both experimental and computational approaches.

Associate Professor Ben Mullins

Associate Professor Mullins undertakes both experimental and computational studies of air quality and aerosol science (and health), including the development of novel methods for air pollutant measurement and sensing.

Dr Gavin Pereira

Dr Pereira leads local, national and international studies on the effects of air pollution and heatwaves on health outcomes.

Associate Professor Rumchev undertakes studies of air and environment quality and health in a range of settings.

Dr Amanda Wheeler

Dr Wheeler’s research focuses on vulnerable populations. She conducts research on air pollution health effects.

Associate Professor Guicheng (Brad) Zhang

Associate Professor Zhang is leading a research team with a main focus on investigating the effect of environmental, genetic and epigenetic factors, as well as the interactive effects of these factors, on the development of chronic diseases including asthma and allergy.
