The Curtin Institute for Energy Transition offers thought leadership on climate and energy technologies as they relate to energy transition. We use scientific information to:
-
Inform stakeholders (government, industry, and the public) about the agreements required to systematically lift the level of societal debate around what a just transition entails
-
Provide a suite of technologies and tools to facilitate energy transitions in practice
To realise and sustain a new energy future, we must train the next generation of problem solvers and educate the community about their role in the energy transition. At CIET we run teach courses, host conferences, present educational events, publish academic and mainstream media articles and, of course, research pathways to a sustainable energy future.
