Register of supervisors

Students who wish to apply for admission to a HDR course at Curtin are encouraged to identify a potential supervisor in their specific area of interest and contact them to discuss the proposed research.

The Register of Supervisors is a database listing Curtin academic staff members who are eligible to act in a supervisory role on a higher degree by research (HDR) student’s thesis committee.  The purpose of the register is to ensure that supervisors provide a role model to HDR students that is positive and conducive to a research culture of excellence, integrity, professionalism and mutual respect.

All supervisors employed by Curtin must maintain current registration on the Register of supervisors in order to supervise HDR students.  The academics listed on the register have met the criteria outlined in Curtin’s Supervision of HDR Students Policy and Procedures.
