Mr Conrad Crisafulli

Director, IP Commercialisation

Conrad has been with Curtin since 2003 and has extensive experience in all aspects of technology commercialisation. Conrad's previous role as managing director of TechStart Australia Pty Ltd (a boutique venture capital firm) and his many years of experience in senior management roles in the energy and telecommunications industries see him well placed to lead the IP Commercialisation team.

Conrad has retained his interest in the IT&T industry as a non-executive director of the ASX-listed company iPernica (formerly QPSX) Ltd since October 2000.

Dr Jenny Tollet

Deputy Director, IP Commercialisation

Jenny previously worked as the Commercialisation Manager for BioPharmica Pty Ltd, during which time she managed the business development of a large range of biomedical technologies. Prior to that, she was the Executive Manager of a biotech start-up, Dynamic Microbials Ltd, in addition to working as a Senior Analyst for investment bank Gateway Capital Ltd.

Jenny's extensive experience in all facets of commercialisation is complemented by her MSc and PhD degrees in Molecular Biology and Physiology. This scientific background has enabled her to excel in the highly complex field of biotech commercialisation.

Ms Marilyn Crosthwaite

Executive Officer, IP Commercialisation

Marilyn joined the team in July 2006 as Executive Officer for the group. She brings her wide-ranging management and administrative experience to bear on overall management of the office as well as the many spin out companies. Marilyn acts as a central contact for internal and external clients and provides valuable organisation for the complex and often hectic environment the team operates in.

Mr Jarrad Pyvis

Business Analyst, IP Commercialisation

Jarrad joined the Office of IP Commercialisation in 2006. As a Business Analyst, Jarrad rigorously assesses new projects for novelty and market potential. He also serves as the first point of contact for all new commercialisation enquiries.
