AASQA received donation from Rotary Club of Willetton (20 Feb 2017)

AASQA is pleased to announce that we have received a generous donation of $5,500 from the Rotary Club of Willetton to support the running of the CoderDojo outreach program in 2017. We have 31 students (we called them “ninjas”) joining us in semester one of the Dojo this year. Supporting the ninjas is a group of dedicated mentors and parent volunteers to ensure every ninja will have the opportunity to maximise their learning potential.

In February 2016, the Rotary Club of Willetton donated the seed funding that enabled AASQA to begin the first pilot CoderDojo at Willetton Senior High School.  We had a humble start with five students and now we are extending our services to the rest of the community with the help of this donation. We would like to thank the Rotary Club of Willetton for their continued support.
