Contracts
The Contracts Officer within the Office of Research and Development is responsible for the processing of all research related Contracts and/or Agreements with external funding agencies or companies.
Researchers who require assistance with research related contract matters should contact one of the Research and Development Officers within the Research Grants and Consultancy Unit.
All research related Contracts or Agreements must be submitted to the Research Grants, Contracts and Consultancy Unit for review prior to signature. Where necessary, legal advice will be sought from the University's Legal and Compliance Services, prior to signature by the Officer authorised to sign such Agreements/Contracts (this is generally the Pro Vice-Chancellor, R&D or the Director, R&D). For additional information please refer to the Grants section.
It is important to note that individual researchers are not authorised to sign Agreements and/or Contracts that bind the University. Please contact your Research and Development Officer should you receive any contractual documents relating to your research. If you wish to follow up on progress of a contract already provided to ORD then please contact anne.wong@curtin.edu.au.
