Curtin Research Institutes and Centres
Curtin's Research Institutes and Research Centres represent groupings of research excellence in key areas across the University. In addition, Curtin is either home to, or participates in many Australia initiatives, including Industry funded initiatives, State-funded Centres of Excellence in Science and Innovation, and Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs).
A full list of Curtin Research Institutes and Centres is included below and these operate under the Procedure for the Establishment, Operation and Review of University Research Institutes and Centres, or the Procedure for the Establishment, Operation and Review of Externally Funded Research Centres.
Expressions of Interest (EoI) to establish a Research Institute/Centre are invited from time to time from research groups across the University and guidelines for applications to establish a Research Institute/Centre are also included in the University's Procedure. Once established, each group submits an annual report for review (2008 Annual Report template).
